I've always believed that a movie with good actors is not necessarily a good movie.
Ye Dexian performed well and deserved the honor of being the best actress, but unfortunately the plot was bland.
At the beginning of the film, the sense of alienation between master and servant is blatantly established. In the
middle part, the relationship between master and servant turns into a mother-son relationship.
The transition between these two parts is a bit sudden, and Andy Lau's psychological changes are not magnified and portrayed.
