When reality shines into ideal

In my opinion, this is a story about ideals.

Not to mention that the subject matter is killers, they are in contrast to the silent image of killers dressed in black in the past, swiping cards for work in suits and leather shoes, and sitting in the cubicle. In my opinion, this is just a gimmick, perhaps to make personal hatred of the company even more intense. However, since the title of the movie is called "Company Staff", it might as well really look at it that way. Japanese yakuza are legal, so there's nothing wrong with that.

Many people compare this movie with "This Killer Is Not Too Cold" and think it's just a revenge story of a passionate killer; some people say that the scene where the male protagonist walks into the company with a gun is very enjoyable, how much does it cost to go to work? What the family fantasized about, the reason is just - I want to resign, but my boss won't agree. A good movie, its story and characters can be divided into opinions, I think there are some things beyond the above for this movie.

Movies begin with work and ideals. Ask the job first - "Do you like this job?" The section chief said, "It's just a job, how can you like it or not?", "I've been doing it for so many years anyway." Stable"; then ask about ideals - "What ideals do you have?" The newcomer said, "I want to be a rich man." The section chief said, "I used to dream of being a singer," but "I didn't." ". I included these words because this dialogue sets the tone for the entire film.

The male protagonist Ji Hyung-do may have fallen in love with the heroine, but the role of the heroine is: a singer who Ji once liked but has passed out and lives a life not even as good as an ordinary housewife, and when the singer is Ji Young The unrealized ideal of the time. So when Chi faced the heroine, he was also facing a possible reality after the realization of his own ideal; Chi wanted to help the heroine, but he was actually helping another self.

The end of the film does not end with Chi's active arrest and blood-stained resignation letter, but an additional scene of Chi looking for a job: on the subway to the interview, he repeatedly practices self-introduction to the door glass, organizes his clothes, and reviews the information on his resume. The photo is not satisfied and I deliberately retake it, with a nervous and expectant smile in front of the camera.

We don't know why he chose this job. On the premise that killer is an ordinary occupation, maybe it is because he makes a lot of money, or maybe he is very satisfied to find such a job with his own conditions like Xiaoxun, maybe It's just a job, and his character is just right for the job. Ten years ago, the dream failed to come true, so he took such a job, but this job could not allow him to take care of his family, and he could not quit his job. The heroine who once realized her ideal, became a singer at the age of seventeen, got Xiaoxun at the age of eighteen, and then she was out of breath. It can be seen that this job also cannot take care of the family and can resign. However, this work experience after resignation is not a plus. sub option.

Maybe when we were young, we all had ideals, but the ideals were not realized, so they became the past, hidden in the box; or realized, but lived a reality that was not glamorous and beautiful. Like Ike's smile at the end of the film, we are nervous and full of anticipation to face the unknown reality, but ten years later, we want to break free from the normality of reality. We work, we live, and the system of this world does not require us to question it, nor does it allow us to violate it. However, Chi is a potential idealist. After ten years of reality, when reality shatters his ideals again, he is willing to cut himself and shatter reality.
