"Sleeping Curse 2" tells the story of the so-called Sleeping Beauty in which the so-called witch Marlene Fissen pierced Princess Arlo's hand with a spindle to make her fall asleep, which was actually fabricated out of thin air by the princess' later mother-in-law, Queen Ingris. The militant queen later pierced the hand of her peace-loving husband, the king, in the same way, and let him fall asleep. She also used this to frame the witch to harm the king and provoked a war between the two countries.
This movie tells us that we cannot trust the stories told by others, and that we must learn to analyze rationally so that we will not wrong the good people.
Whether you are a writer or the media, you will definitely add your own subjective view when writing. Sometimes, their reports are not necessarily the full story. From the recent popular rumors on Weibo that Shuang sisters abandoned two children and were spurned, to Luo Champion’s "rape you if you love you" incident, where there have been several rounds of plot reversal before, and "junior high school students stabbed to death bullies." "8 years in prison" incident, do we really see the whole story? Did we condemn it only after rational analysis?
What is the fact?
Not to mention that sometimes certain media and interest groups spread rumors to confuse the public. Even if the report is what the writers and media believe is true, it may not be 100% true. In 1641, Descartes mentioned in the "Meditations on First Philosophy" that people perceive the world through consciousness, and everything in the world is indirectly perceivable. The so-called truth of the external world may be false. Even the memories in our own brains sometimes don't necessarily happen. If even what we think of as "truth" is not necessarily the truth, what reason do we have to believe in the so-called "truth" published by others?
Most stories in the world are extremely subjective like the story of Sleeping Beauty. We must keep our eyes open, stay sensible, and stop drifting with the flow.
