"Beyond The Clouds", translated as - Days on the Clouds.
This is a sad movie, why is a movie sad, what is sadness? This is closely related to another theme of the film - truth, truth, what is the truth of things, we always fail to see. The real protagonist of this narrative is the director who is looking for the material for the next film, that is, he is preparing for the next narrative, he travels around and encounters some lonely people and fragmented stories. He has tried to trim these materials to make them look like a movie, like an understandable theme and life. However, gradually, when his role and purpose as a deliberate storyteller became a little blurred, he found that his encounter with these stories was already a story that did not need to be tailored, and the theme of this story was him. own confusion. and sadness. This confusion and sadness will dissolve the apparent abruptness between the different stories. And so there's a movie about a movie, a narrative about a narrative, a gesture of thinking, confusion and sadness that we can all resonate with.
The two meet by chance and fall in love at first sight, and they discuss sound and silence with ease. The woman waited all night, and the man hesitated to be sure if he could approach, so he missed it. Another chance encounter 3 years later, the woman has a new story, they still meet naked, the man's hand, dare not touch the woman's almost perfect naked body, just caress the layer of air close to the body. In the end, it still didn't happen, the woman watched him through the window glass, and there was a brief silence, looking at each other from a distance, too silent.
The director followed a bright and lively female clerk, she abruptly asked him to know her, and there was one thing he had to know right away, that she had stabbed her father 12 times to death, and it seemed that everything else was unimportant. Then the director thought about the 12-knife thing, but it didn't matter. He slept with her, she was so beautiful. They were already twisted together, and it still didn't happen, and when they parted, they stared lightly at each other, through the open window.
A man, met a woman in a coffee shop, talked easily about the soul and body, and became each other's lovers. He has since been deceived between his wife and his lover, unable to extricate himself. In the end, the man may have returned to his lover, and the wife swept away all the furniture and looked for another place to live, just in time to meet a poor husband who was abandoned by his cruel wife, and his furniture was also swept away by his wife. This pair of abandoned men and women meet by chance in this abandoned and empty house. What men lose is precisely what women have, and what men have is precisely what women have lost. Conversely, what women lose is precisely what men have and women have. Exactly what the man lost. They picked up each other's hands inexplicably, intending to repay each other's lives.
The youthful young man, the girl who pursues the beauty of spring, they hurriedly talk about the meaning and love of life. He followed her to the church, fell into a deep sleep to the devout chants, and after waking up, continued to chase the girl he met by chance. The rain drenched them, the girl was chased by the boy to the door, and she finally told him that she was going to enter the monastery tomorrow. The young man was stunned, then hurried downstairs, rushed into the rainstorm, and did not know where to go.

Closer to home. When I say this movie, I want to say the real narrative, and the real narrative is to express what I don't know, how I don't know. That is to express the unknown, and why it is unknown and how it is unknown, so that what was originally empty will become real. And we will find something interesting and worth mentioning in this narrative.
