I revisit those lines that go straight to my heart: "You are afraid of death, and I am afraid of survival. Once survival begins, everything is inevitable." "You are a mystery, like an undead." "I am indeed dead, a little Son."
Antonioni puts his most profound experience at the end of the film, and the denial of desire conveys the director's affirmation of Christian birth values at the end of his life.
