Friends should help each other

A little fox named Taode was adopted by an old woman because its mother was killed by a hunter. Taode and Xiaotong the little hound are good friends. They play together all day and are very happy. Tao De accidentally injured the old dog taking care of Xiaotong by a train in an accident. Later, when Xiaotong’s owner took Xiaotong to hunt down Taode, they unexpectedly met a bear. At a critical moment, the kind-hearted Taode helped Xiaotong defeat the bear with his wisdom, and the two friends got back together. I have a great impression after watching this movie. Animals are our human friends. We should love animals. Hunters should not hunt and kill the little fox’s mother, so that the little fox loses her mother. Also, I learned from the little fox that we should cherish friendship. When our friends are in trouble, we should help each other.

The Fox and the Hound quotes

  • Badger: [Tod has just been left in the forest, and he darts into a burrow. He quickly backs out. A badger appears]

    [angry]

Badger: Hold it, sonny! Back off! Consarnit! Wh-where do you think you're goin'?

Adult Tod: [nervous] Oh. Oh excuse me! I-I-I was just trying to..

Badger: You barge in on somebody's house like you own it! Tarry hootin' around the woods! Wakin' up folks in the middle of the night!

Adult Tod: I honestly didn't know anybody lived here. And I...

Badger: Well, you know it now! Now get of my property! Go on! Beat it!

  • Badger: [Tod finds himself sitting on an entrance to a burrow. Something pushes him off. It's the badger. The badger looks around in anger and sees Tod] So! It's you again! You've barged in on me last night! And now you...

    Adult Tod: I... I didn't mean to!

Badger: Just look at the mess you made.

    [Tod looks. The entrance collapses]

Badger: [angrily] DAD GRANIT! YOU CLUMSY BONEHEAD!

[the badger furiously pushes Tod into a ditch]

Adult Tod: [apologetic] Sorry! It was an accident!

Badger: [refusing to accept] Excuses. Excuses.

Porcupine: [defending Tod] Mr. Digger, sir. It was so too an accident.

Badger: [the badger turns to the porcupine, refusing to be spoken to this way] You keep out of this, you walking pin cushion!

Porcupine: [the porcupine flinches. Then he frowns]

    [severely]

Porcupine: Uh. You shouldn't be so grumpy to someone who's new in the neighborhood!

    Badger: A stranger, eh?

    [the badger turns to Tod]

Badger: Why don't you go back where you came from?

Adult Tod: [Tod pauses and frowns] Wha...

[He stops. He then rolls his eyes. He turns around and starts to leave. He then pauses and looks back for a moment]

Badger: Well go on! Get goin'! Get!

[Tod sadly continues on his way. The porcupine sighs sadly and shakes his head]
