VOL.2 "Abolitionists" NO.1 Patriot

The Defender is a great Korean movie. When you see it, you seem to see the image of James Otis, the leader of Boston's legal profession, raising his arms at the Capitol in 1761, spanning more than two centuries, and completely reflected in Busan. We understand that, as John Adams said, the impact of the American Revolution continues and will continue.

The patriots mentioned here are true patriots.

As a word in two American Revolutions, patriot seems to have been misunderstood from the start.

In the first revolution, long before the founding of the United States of America, the revolutionaries called themselves patriots, before the country of America, and of course they loved Britain. They are proud of the name patriots, because they have higher morals and dare to oppose the despotism of the British rulers.

In the second revolution, the real patriots were not those who were indifferent to slavery, let alone those who supported it, but those abolitionists who dared to fight against the powerful forces of slavery.

The glorious and resounding title of patriot does not belong to those who are servile to the powerful and cold to the poor. No, true patriots are those who fight for justice to be achieved in the motherland!
