About a month ago, I occasionally lost an opportunity to go to the theater to watch this film, so I was worried about it for a long time. A lot of the expectations for it come from the name, what does the sky of the bad boy look like? Is it the bad boys we remember as adolescence?
Since middle school, there will always be a group of such boys or individual girls around us. They make a bohemian appearance, they know best how to be grandstanding in taunting others, they say things we dare not say, do things we dare not do, and yet, years later, we still think of them at some point and stubbornly I think they must be living a very miserable life now. The weak boys who were bullied by them in those days should now be powerful in the field they are familiar with. Occasionally, they encounter people who bullied them on the street. Looking at the miserable situation today, they smiled generously.
Kitano Takeshi was not willing to let Xiaoma and Xinzhi down for a long time, and soon after they passed the peak of their respective lives, they fell into a trough. I love that last shot, where the two in the trough still say with confidence that life has just begun.
