In the mid-19th century, Italy was under the rule of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Angelo, a young cavalry colonel, was exiled to the French city of Ai because of his conspiracy to riot, and he was constantly pursued and killed. Inadvertently fell into a cholera-infested area, he fled to the high roof, overlooking what was happening under his feet, dignity and conscience, under the threat of death, had been wiped out, suspicion and cannibalism, and achieved scene after scene of tragedy . Angelo, well-mannered, gentle, but his eyes are as deep as the sky, but his mind is more mature than his peers. He gently stepped on the obtuse-shaped roof, and the sun made a perfect separation of life and death in the lens. Angelo walked on the roof, dazzling and calm like the bright colors that jumped out of this death scene. Even his love for Paulina is restraint, forbearance, tenacity, purity, responsibility, and calm! It happened under the surging tide of revolution, and the black era of panic and cholera outbreak was really heart-wrenching and wonderful. Life and love, like two drops of water, merged into the torrent of that special era. In "The Hussars on the Roof", all death is made weak and powerless because of this, that beautiful and tenacious love blooms softly and fragrant, and the fragrance drifts away with the wind, forever detached, forever like a song like weeping. This kind of love does not have to be together, but you can always choose to look at each other from a distance, and cherish the beautiful memories in your heart after you have them. Such love is regrettable, and regret is also mixed with the beauty of waiting. At the end of the film, Angelo and his steed disappear, and Paulina's back looks as thin and haggard as the Alps, but love has become a landscape that he and her can enjoy together in their lives. I like stories like this very much.
