where is the point where the movie touches me

It was not until I saw the part of Human 2.0 that I gave up the idea of abandoning the drama. The whole movie is not about the plot, pictures, special effects... The brain hole is not big enough, but it is very few that can touch on what a person is. The theme of the movie, whether the existence of a person is based on a person's DNA or all his memories in this world (including remembered and unremembered but actually still exist in the brain), if the brain is transplanted, whether this person will exist forever, or even , after all the information in the human brain is stored electronically, will this person still exist and exist forever in the hardware... There are still many such issues involving technology, ethics, morality, and human nature. The movie hits my point.

The Beyond quotes

  • Alice Lamont: The brain can live without a body, but the body can't live without its brain. It's that simple notion which drives the Human 2.0 Project. Our aim was to create a prosthesis that could house the human brain, a substitute body. But most importantly, we wanted it to be recognizable as a human.

  • Alice Lamont: A transplant hasn't been made into this body yet, so, essentially, it's just a body. It's like... a bit like a computer without a hard drive.
