It's a veteran, not a furnace

Yesterday, I just watched "Sorrowful" starring Liu Yaren, and today I watched "Veteran". Although he is the protagonist in both films, he is a complete villain in this film. Halfway through the movie, it's easy to think of the movie "The Furnace" from South Korea. It also tells the helplessness of the bottom people who are unable to maintain justice, but the ending of "The Furnace" is despairing. I prayed silently in my heart, Give the good people a place, thankfully, The Veteran didn't let me down.
Said to be a veteran is definitely a veteran, and not just an ordinary veteran. He is a veteran with a strong sense of justice and is not afraid of being strong. The character's characteristics are conveyed to us at the beginning of the film. Of course, the most impressive thing is his extraordinary skills. Therefore, it is more exciting than "The Furnace", and the perfect combination of action films and dramas is one of the reasons for its explosion at the box office. But as a similar theme, I may feel, at least vaguely, that "The Furnace" is more shocking, I think, probably because there are more "populism" in "The Furnace", but the populism I said Not to be derogatory, at the same time, the victims in "The Furnace" are not just ordinary vulnerable people, but also physically handicapped children, and the ending is so hopeless, so "The Furnace" has a stronger sense of art. But audiences are not all masochists, and hopeless movies tend to make people emotionally down. It can be said that both have their own advantages.
"The Veteran" has created a people's idol for us, at least if it is placed in the previous China, it will inevitably be called a people's idol: a hero who punishes evil and promotes good, adheres to principles, and is fearless... Of course, there are many comedies among them. The ingredients, especially the so-called "justifiable defense", in order to ensure that it is "justifiable defense", they have to be beaten before they start, which is very distressing.
There is no doubt that the disadvantaged groups have been hindered a lot in the process of upholding justice. I am afraid that all of us bystanders are afraid that some of them will give up their original intentions. Therefore, any of them, even if they live in embarrassment and hinder their promotion, still always hold that in their hearts. Put on the everlasting light.
