"Veteran" is a crime movie directed by Liu Shengwan and starring Huang Zhengmin and Liu Yaren. To be honest, Liu Shengwan's film skills are still relatively mature. Before "Battleship Island" and "Berlin" are masterpieces, Liu Shengwan's cognition of commercial genre films is also What we can see, and recently domestic remakes of Korean movies, this time the film is "Veteran". Only this part of "Find You" has a natural and stable overall feel. Although I didn't watch the release of "Big Shot" this time, it reminded me of the Korean box office champion "Veteran".

This kind of combination is also the overall style of "Veteran". The first half can be said to be balanced and sweet but not greasy. In recent years, Korean crime films have been flooded, and this "Veteran" is also one of the few A lot of small-scale light-hearted crime movies, and many times when I watch them, I think of the "Police Story" series.
At the end of the movie, the confrontation between the two people on the roadside is also the best I personally think. Not only the climax, but also the breaking of the dimensional wall of power, class, and justice can be said to be full of tension.
There is nothing to say about the acting skills of Huang Zhengmin and Liu Yaren in the movie. Huang Zhengmin played the role of the police officer who is cynical and full of justice, and Liu Yaren also performed the rebellion of hostility and inferiority.
But "Veteran" has a fatal injury. It's a routine. The plot points of the whole movie can remind you of other movies of the same type. It's a matter of opinion here.
If you like to watch routine police and gangster movies, it is highly recommended because the whole is still relatively burning.
