Seoul Station--It's Not Terrible, But The Plot Is Good

Recently, a Korean movie "Train to Busan" was planted, but I did not pull this grass, and I pulled another animated film, "Seoul Station," by the same director, Yeon Sang-ho. Even so, I couldn't resist all kinds of temptations. I watched the spoilers of "Train to Busan" at least 3 times, otherwise it would suffocate me.

Why not just watch "Train to Busan" and choose to watch "Seoul Station" instead? After thinking about it, I can list three reasons:

1. Zombie movies are horror thrillers. I am getting older and I always feel scared when I watch it by myself. So I decided to watch Seoul Station to warm up and relieve tension.

2. It is said that "Seoul Station" is the prequel to "Train to Busan". This is a preview, and the animation is not always scarier than the real thing. This is my careful machine.

3. Too many people have watched Busan, so I just want to see what happened to Seoul Station first. Are you just looking for someone to accompany you? It's all excuses.

It took me a day to finish watching this "Seoul Station" during my commute to work. It feels okay. Compared with the blockbuster Japanese animated film, this Korean animated film has a big gap in terms of picture quality, soundtrack, and the expressions of the characters. Among them, it is particularly worth complaining that the movement of the characters is not smooth, just like a robot, which makes people feel like zombies. Except for rotten heads, broken faces, broken hands and feet, there is not much difference.

There will be a lot of spoilers ahead, and there will be no comparisons.

Of course, if you want to promote it, you should suppress it first. I feel that the only thing that can make up for it is the plot. It starts with the heroine and ends with the heroine. It is complete and complete, although it is tragic in the end.

The meaning of irony is very deep. The whole film involves real issues such as homeless people, assisted dating, and human nature. It interacts with society and is easy to resonate with people.

Since it is a zombie movie, we must talk about the horror degree of the zombies in it. If you hope to get a sense of shock from this film, you may be disappointed. I don't even feel scared when I look at this coward. Have you been found? I just watch anime because I'm scared.

Among them, there are a few episodes that are particularly recommended and feel quite good:

1. At the beginning, a homeless man was injured (infected by the virus). After his younger brother found out, he went to various people for help, such as citizens on the street, homeless companions, ambulance stations, and police, for various reasons. I got rejected. At the beginning of the movie, it took a lot of time to lay the groundwork for this part. In the end, the old man who was infected by the virus became the source of this disaster, with a taste of revenge.

2. In the second half, the boy who helped everyone fight zombies was bitten by his companions. The zombies broke through the siege, and the police stood by. Alone and weak, he chose to climb the ladder to escape, but in the end, he sacrificed to save the heroine. This is an awakening of human nature, in contrast to the brutality of zombies. But I personally feel that after the boy sacrificed, the heroine didn't have too much gratitude. sad?

3. In the end, the heroine turned into a corpse and bit her desperately. She didn't feel terrified, but relieved of her hatred. From the beginning, I thought it was my father's search, but in the end, it turned out that the enemy was chasing after him, and the boyfriend died. How desperate! But I also have doubts. In order to collect debts, as for? It's too hard!

After watching the whole film, I really appreciate the reversal at the end and the fast-developing plot (after all, the time is not long). But obviously, there is a lot of abruptness and awkwardness in it, there are many places that are not explained clearly, and there are many inexplicable things. As a horror cartoon, it is considered qualified, the degree of shock is average, and the picture needs to be strengthened. After all, it affects the look and feel.

It's been a week since I watched it, so I can't remember some of the episodes. But it seems to think of a scene: when facing a group of zombies and being chased desperately, someone said, "If you don't want to be chased, it's better to be bitten."

Yes, it is so hard to escape; it is better to be bitten, and you can walk and run even if you are bitten. But becoming a zombie also means losing one's will and emotions, which means becoming a walking and unconscious corpse, which is death.

Perhaps when people face loss, they realize that what they have now is enough!
