Seoul Station: Where is Home

Having watched some Korean movies before, such as The Furnace, The Defender, The Gift of Room 7, etc., I have some understanding of the darkness of human nature depicted in Korean movies. But this time I saw Seoul Station, but once again broke the bottom line, I felt that such a world, what is a person, where is a home. Might as well be a zombie.

The film opens with a clear division of social class, with the homeless berating the spitting man in the suit, the cleaner telling the homeless man to go away, and the homeless man walking away angrily. When night fell, everyone who was out begging for a living went home. Homeless people return to apartments, hotels, rental houses, and homeless people return to the underpass of Seoul Station.

The story unfolds in the underground passage of Seoul Station. An elderly homeless man was bitten by something unknown and was dying. After one of his brothers found out, he wanted to ask for help. He went to the hospital, rescue station, and the police one after another, but he got no help. Finally, he bought 2 Band-Aids at the convenience store, but when he rushed back, he found that his brother was dead. So he ran to the police station to ask for help, but the police finally followed him to Seoul Station, but the body disappeared. The first zombie appeared.

The protagonist of the story, Huiying, because she refused her boyfriend's prostitution request, the two had a big fight and were alone on the street. As a result, it became a great escape for zombies to eat people. Those who are eaten become new zombies and continue to attack humans. After experiencing many dangers, Huiying finally reached a safe place with a homeless man at Seoul Station. There is a relatively safe environment here. Huiying's boyfriend and a so-called father are also looking for Huiying on the way to resist the zombies. After experiencing the horror of zombies eating people, you can be safe as long as you climb over the train, and there are police protection on the opposite side.

But the police on the opposite side of the train blocked their way of survival with water cannons and bullets. He has contributed to the country and built countless high-rise buildings. His past dedication is not worth mentioning at this moment. The homeless man said he wanted to get over the train and wanted to be free, but he was beaten to death by the police. The person who blocked the zombies at the alley was attacked by the zombies. Zombies attacked the alley in groups, with trains and bullets in front, and zombies in the back, and the entire alley became a hell on earth. Huiying followed a man along the wires and climbed up the high wall next to her. She almost fell down several times in the middle, and was even grabbed by the zombies by her ankles. In the end, in the midst of a crisis, the man went down the wire again to save Huiying, but was caught and killed by the zombies.

Huiying, who finally escaped, went to an abandoned model building. Her boyfriend and "Dad" found him. As a result, the so-called "father" turned out to be the boss of the red light district where Hui Ying used to work, and wanted to get back the money that Hui Ying stole. During the dispute, the boss killed Huiying's boyfriend and also killed Huiying. He finally cried and told Huiying not to die, at least pay the money before dying. In the end, Huiying also became a zombie because of an ankle injury and killed the boss. Really, good and evil will pay off in the end.

After watching this film, I feel hopeless everywhere. The despair of zombies eating people and having nowhere to run, the despair of indifference in the world, the despair of the police shooting innocent people, the desperation of the boss in the film who is inhuman and only greedy for money. Fortunately, this is just a cartoon, and zombies are just fictional fears. But in the end, I found out that the so-called "Dad" turned out to be the boss of the red light district, which is really scarier than zombies.

There are also a lot of bugs in the whole movie. For example, those who are complained about never close the door, the heroine kills many people, and the whole process except crying, the IQ is not online and so on. In addition, I found that when the zombies appear, the most advantageous weapon is to run, to escape the attack of the zombies at the fastest speed. Well, let's start running tonight.
