I just knew that I shouldn't run to watch this kind of niche genre film series with a hot head in the promotion of Hu Ge's explosive acting skills - it's not my thing at all. From the dialect dialogue of the characters in the first five minutes of the film, the contrast of light and shadow colors spread out in the cold tones of the blockbuster, the deliberately created dark and depressing atmosphere, the exquisite lens aesthetics and composition (Gui Lunmei first appeared in the scene from the shadow outside the umbrella to the leg and then slowly I was impressed by the close-up of the face at the end of the slow progress) and the surprising soundtrack and visual effects, I have a vague feeling of bad feeling: based on my limited experience of watching similar movies, this kind of film is very likely to end up for me. It's wonderful but useless or don't know what to express (useless) at all. Sadly, not only was it to be expected, but the movie falls into the latter category. The use of various atmospheres, techniques and details in the film is indeed very sophisticated, but my shallow view is that all technical means should serve the plot of the film, and the story is the soul of the film. And this movie, I think I still understand the cause and effect, and then what? The scenes of car theft competitions, police assignments on duty, etc. are very dark, yes, is the bloody scene necessary? The gangster kills the police by mistake and evades the pursuit, only to get the bounty for the wife to make her confession - how politically incorrect and ridiculous - wait, maybe all the efforts and ultimate goal of the director of the whole film are to exaggerate the absurdity of the story itself feel?
Just think that the purpose of this type of film is to experience emotions (atmosphere) only. It is better to try this kind of niche-themed films carefully in the future.
The performances of the male and female protagonists show the restrained depression and the sophisticated vicissitudes of a big stone in their hearts - is this necessary? After all, the characters in the play have no foreshadowing, and they can also have a free and easy side - bare feet are not afraid of wearing shoes. Gui Lunmei's smoking really makes it seem difficult to act in a play... The plot of Hu Ge killing the three is a little off (forget it, the whole story is absurd, and the description of the village in the city is real to exaggerated). Hu Ge is too stylish, especially the profile of his face. If I throw it into the pile of gangsters, I can even doubt whether it is an undercover agent sent by the police...
So what am I looking at? ? ?
