The first time I watched Peter Rabbit, I watched the second film directly. Although I didn't have the experience of watching the first film, it didn't look too inconsistent. I watched it with my sister, and she liked it very much. There are simple and easy-to-understand jokes in the film, and there are also some very humorous ridicules implied. It is a pretty good family movie.
The degree of anthropomorphism in the film is quite high. The stories, lives, personalities and characteristics of the small animals have interesting settings similar to those of humans.
Of course, there are reflections and discussions on art and commercialization interspersed. I feel that it is indirectly complaining about the excessive adaptation of the original story, which is quite fun.
The movie ends with the adventure of "Rescue Action", and the happy ending is still very creative.
The whole movie is very loving, and in the end the core is to focus on the power of love in the family and the importance of sticking to the original intention...
There are two Easter eggs at the end of the movie, they are both funny and cute! There are not many new characters in the film, but they all have their own characteristics...
The only thing that affects the overall feeling is that the first half feels a little procrastinated, and the plot is more routine. But the story as a whole is very coherent, and it is super suitable for children to watch together!
btw the setting of jelly beans is really interesting hahaha! Ban sugar for all!
