We live in the world and often have multiple identities. Every nationality, work and family will add some attributes to us. Under these identities, we are still ourselves, and we will have our own wishes. The whole film is very much like a long stage play, the costumes and the lines are very unusual and make you feel like they are performing. This reminds me of the chaos I watched before. The two films gave me similar feelings, but Jing Ke is based on the history I know and will have a more sense of identity. The role of King Qin is very complicated. At the beginning, he seemed to really want to build a beautiful world, but conquest itself is accompanied by blood and tears, or his focus has changed, and becoming a king is his focus. As long as he is prevented from becoming king, he will not stay. In the end, King Qin stood alone on the bridge, and he really only had to be the king. No family, lovers, brothers, loyal relatives... Jing Ke is the semi-opposite of King Qin. He started to live only for material things, and human life has no weight in his heart. Until he began to realize because of a blind girl, so he stopped killing. In the end, he chose to take the road of assassination again because he wanted to prevent more killings, so he died but was safer than the Qin King who did not die.
