After watching the movie, I carefully recalled the plot in my mind, and the purpose of doing this was to remind myself who the protagonist in the movie was? Jing Ke? But he didn't play much time, King Qin? Hmm... Maybe, after thinking of it, I was sure that the protagonist was Lady Zhao. This Chen Kaige's fictional woman actually led (although not so exaggerated, but it did play such a role) in this film. And Qin Wang Yingzheng and Jing Ke were also linked by the woman Chen Kaige made up. Naturally, the Qin Shi Huang and Jing Ke in this movie are by no means so petite and crazy and comical in real history. Chen Kaige's real purpose is by no means simply telling a historical story, but expounding some of his own so-called "philosophy" in it - or the struggle for power, or the difficult situation under the patriarchy, or Dignity of rebels, etc. Here we don't go into the details of what he wants to express, we only deconstruct the two characters of Qin Wang and Zhao Nv. King Qin—a so-called illegitimate child in this movie, was inspired by the words of Zhao Nv in Zhao State when he was a child, and determined to be a king who swept the six kingdoms. But step by step, he went to extremes and became a brutal king. Zhao Nv - a woman who wants peace wholeheartedly for Zhao State and the people of the world. After seeing the cruelty of her beloved, she resolutely went to find an assassin and wanted to assassinate the King of Qin in exchange for peace. At first glance, these two people are indeed flesh and blood, but in fact, if we think about it a little bit, we will find that this is actually a typical "love triangle" story. It's just that this love triangle is mixed with many countries and countless subjects. The director deliberately weakened some rather important uncertain factors in the historical process, and then deliberately magnified the characters' own emotions or desires. And the addition of the role of Zhao Nv seems to be that the director wants to deliberately create a shocking tragedy, in order to explain the so-called tragic fate of the characters in his heart? Well, I can't guess the director's mind, but just to evaluate this movie, I think it's actually qualified. It cost 500 million yuan, invited many first-line stars, and played so many grand scenes, so this is why at the Golden Rooster Awards, except for the actor's award, all other technical awards can be won. 7.15 Preview | Zhang Yimou's "Hero"

I was shocked to hear that Farewell My Concubine was Chen Kaige’s father’s painstaking effort to pave the way for her son. Now it seems that it is not surprising that I have read this film and I am more confident that Chen Kaige’s interview is also very interesting. Ashamed of Beijing No. 4 Middle School, you can come up with it and say it will be eighty years old!

Li Xuejian's version of King Qin's aura is too strong. I don't know if Chen Kaige influenced him or he influenced Chen Kaige. From then on, the characters in Director Chen's movies always carry a ghost of yin and yang. King Qin gradually moved towards the throne and also towards loneliness. Jing Ke, follow the wind, never forget peace of mind. Characters are the main body of Chen-style movies. This two-line movie releases the tension of the collision of perspectives to the maximum.
