The three states of coffee

The three states of coffee: solid, viscous, and liquid
. The three states of sago: transparent, translucent, and opaque (inland empire tidbits)

. Things in the three states are still things themselves, but they exist in different environments. This potential state that shouldn't be presented in a normal environment is shown in Lynch's film. And what inspires this state is the power of the thing itself (the demon). Bob does not exist, and the symbolic mysterious characters in Lynch's films do not exist.

"Fire walks with me", the heart demon, is fear and the key to changing the state of things.
"Female in trouble", the heart demon, is anxiety, I guess.

"When you saw me for the second time, I was no longer me."

Lynch uses red to the extreme. The fear of the tarsus and even red in Lynch's films represent the evil of the subconscious and the unknowability of the unknown world. This is probably the fastest-paced one of all Lynch's movies + dramas. Every frame is full of information, which denies many of the intentions and unknowns of the tp drama. The dwarf and the red room are more similar, and there are images such as rings, monkeys, masks, etc.

Well, if this production is more refined to achieve the stunning effect of "Invasion of Brain Cells", it will definitely be better than it, but it's a pity that Lynch seems to be obsessed with the effect of such a small production. Weirdness, panic, mystery and unpredictability fill the whole book, suspense plus various obscure meanings and ghosts and so on are indeed inexplicable in many places, but they also make Lynch's surreal approach. However, the film alone is not very watchable. We haven't watched the TV series.
