After watching the entire movie, I burst into tears.
The first is that King Qin and Lu Buwei recognized each other. The acting skills of Li Xuejian and Chen Kaige are so immersive. Everyone said that this is the highest point of Ying Zheng's humanity in the whole play, and the love is the most intimate. When it comes to Lu Buwei's phrase "Lu's Spring... Lu's Spring and Autumn", my emotions and the characters in the play rushed out.
The second is at the end. Qin Wang Yingzheng silently recited the oath to destroy the six kingdoms, and the curtain fell. The film ends and must end, but I don't want it to end. This work, which is full of wanton imagination about the life of the ancestors and backed by heavy history, touches every citizen with the blood of Yan and Huang. If it is said that there is a great sage and a third prince in the hearts of every Chinese, then there should also be a Qin Shihuang who unified the six kingdoms, and Jing Ke, a savage assassin. Seeing this, I found that the original emotion this movie brought me was exactly the same as when I first listened to it. This is my excitement, recognition and belonging in the face of thousands of years of history and culture of the nation. Chen Kaige satisfies my longing for the ancestors. The story he told is magnificent and dashing, yet true.
