When I watched this short film for the first time, it was as if my heart had been punched hard. The little girl grew into a big girl, a wife, a mother, and an old man. She is spending her life waiting for someone who can't wait, her dear father. She waited all her life until the lake became a tidal flat and walked to the sleeping boat in the middle of the lake. She touched the boat with her fingertips, as if they had met again after a long absence. She was lying in the boat, like being embraced by her father, lying in his father's arms. The next second, she got up, ran into the distance, changed back to her child's appearance little by little, stood in front of her father, neither of them moved, they looked at each other, took a step forward, and hugged each other. At this moment, the joy of the father and daughter reuniting after a long absence melted into it.
