self-consciousness

One of the big reasons why I'm willing to write a review for this movie is that it resonates so strongly with me.
From this female (I think it has nothing to do with women and men, having gender is only the need for the actualization of the film, maybe the author thinks that women are more sensitive in reality than men, and their inner richness is more likely to be recognized by readers, so I plan to use a name Female as the protagonist) At first, she was a difficult person to "please" for Luke's (dog)'s untrustworthy attitude. Sometimes I think that some people advocate kindness, purity, beauty, justice, morality, religion, love, and other material and immaterial things, and they reject evil, filth, ugliness, sin, rebellion, looseness, and desire. What is right and wrong may only be guided by others; then what is the starting point for "others" to do this, and will they try to use a series of values to assimilate just to seek their own "stable" situation world? Maybe pain is severe and trying to resist for people who are physically and mentally healthy, but who can convince who that "pain is evil"?
The film's perspective is pure and almost pure, and the woman's brain seems to have only a blank like baby's approval except for the skills of survival.
In the film, a woman lives with a dog, and then encounters a cow, a cat, and a series of surprises in life; the woman milks the cow for food; she runs into the forest with a lantern at night to save the cat; burying the dead kitten (this is the only behavior that I don't think fits very well with "blank cognition", but is a mark of being a socially experienced person); killing a life-threatening man for a strange bull; remembering a dead dog; The cow in the hut feels the same; killing a deer to make a living, a series of fragments and accompanying shots show the woman's emotions from the initial resistance to the final compromise... All of which has been dictated by the woman but does not make sense at all , all behaviors are from the heart, logical.
The hidden wall is hidden and transparent, but the wall always prevents people from going out, and the people outside are still and "dead". Throughout the film, the protagonist never deliberately destroyed the wall, but always came to the conclusion that "the wall is very strong" inadvertently. Obviously, this is a materialized heart wall, your heart and mine. No matter how well a person lives in society, it cannot change the fact that he is still an independent person. Owning your own world is something everyone talks about, but it is illusory, but there is no doubt about it.
This is a person's enlarged inner world, without language communication, but with language description. At the end, language is no longer the meaning of the description, but the expression.

The Wall quotes

  • Woman: Now I am completely calm. I see a little bit further. I see this is not the end yet. Everything goes on. Taurus, Pearl and Luchs will not return. But something new is approaching, and I cannot escape it. The memory, the grief and the fear will remain and there will be hard work as long as I live.
