The second half of this film reminded me of a topic I discussed with my fellow sleeper: Taiwan prohibits teacher-student relationships, because teachers, as the party with power, may use their power to oppress students. This system is not for moral preaching, but to see through the inferiority of people.
The generous mature teacher quickly falls in love with a handsome student, and once the hormones hit, no matter how elegant and charming she is, she is only one step away from the beast. When the handsome student tried to pull away from the relationship, the teacher...did everything and bullied the student. Women in love are idiots.
The story line is very rich, and the clues in that one are very subtle.
Several scenes from the handsome student's family life are immediately fleshed out: deer head stuffed on the wall: father doesn't allow hats to be hung on antlers. The hat is used as a metaphor for the father's desire for control. But such a strong father, when snoring at night, the mother uses a screeching duck in the crevice of the bed to create a peaceful night.
The friendship between the two brothers is profound, the unruly older brother and the gentle and warm smiling, very smart younger brother. (It has to be said that hormones have always only had a destructive effect.)
The husband of the female teacher will start designing, the clock that regularly sprays wine, and the music that turns on as soon as you enter the door. The friendship between the husband and the male student is interesting.
The husband is a weak and kind-hearted person. He discovered the relationship between his wife and the handsome student. He was torturing himself and did not hurt anyone... Maybe the original passion was not in the relationship between husband and wife. Such a simple man should actually be a simple relationship. In the end, he failed in his career, but he was also a step-by-step, drinking heavily all day, or a handsome student put a dress on him.
Maybe the director didn't want her to have a good image for the female teacher... I'll just say one sentence: You must be a woman with principles, and don't let emotions lead Yi's life...
Not to mention the little boy, there must be a mature woman in your life to let you enjoy the charm, and a girl to pretend you are young.
