If I watched this movie before watching Storm Cloud, I would give it three stars for Storm Cloud. Thanks to the master who influenced Feng Junhao and Park Zanyu, he talked for more than two hours without feeling bored, his perspective was calm and restrained, or cruel, and he accurately analyzed the life of a murderer like a scalpel. Not being forced to participate in the protagonist's murder, it can be said that the sense of substitution is excellent. The jokes about religion undoubtedly tell us that some wicked people are wicked people, not because of the rough experiences they have gone through. Rather, they are born with the best of bad embryos, and their existence is to oppose God and let evil triumph. But they are better than some vindicators who hide their evil under the guise of religion, at least they face up to their evil and become a real demon.
Secondly, on the technical level, I think Park Chan-wook drew on the discussion of the ethical relationship and conducted further research himself; what Bong Joon-ho learned was how to "provocate" the audience and grab people's attention at all times. All in all, "Vengeance Is Me" is definitely a movie worth watching several times, because you'll learn something from it.
