Well, the scars forget the pain.

The war has been away from us for many years. Most of the people born in the 1980s can only get the most direct feelings of the war from their elders. My grandfather participated in the later Liberation War and the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. One of his legs remained in North Korea, and he brought back an American soldier's dining fork. He told me that the fork was a prize he had won by playing cards with the captives, and as a child I always felt that the way the fork was obtained was not heroic enough. I asked him, there is a war, go ahead! Are you scared? He said that he was afraid at first, but then he was no longer afraid! I ask, why? He said he was going to die anyway, so what were you afraid of!
Koreans (pan-guided North and Chinese ethnic Koreans) will say that no one from any other country will remember the pain and estrangement that the Korean War brought to Koreans, but I think how many people think about how the war caused the Chinese Pain! China won the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. What was the success of the new China's first sword in exchange? A country that has been poor and weak for more than 100 years has traded the lives of its soldiers for victory. Americans cannot afford to die, but the lives of the Chinese are fought, so what do we have at that time?
Compared with domestic war movies/dramas, "Highland War" is real and profound. Shooting and killing companions, killing officers, etc. may not be seen in domestic production, but I think Kim Soo Hyuk, played by Gao Xiu, knows that he is going to die anyway. Yes, but who would be willing to die, all anti-humanity is the instinct of human beings to survive. However, in the film, the only lieutenant Jiang Enbiao who still has a heart of compassion, let go of "two seconds" is really a second move. I even think that a soldier would not do this at all. This is a slight failure, and it may also be the director. I wanted to bring something dramatic to the movie.
Since the war is so painful, why are there so many wars? After all, there are irreconcilable contradictions between a group of people, a nation or even a country for the sake of interests and land. Negotiations cannot solve the problem, only fighting. The fight is over and a new restraint situation is obtained. The North and South Koreans are suffering from the pain of fighting in the same room. Originally, the war was in the hope of reunifying the North and the South. Later, even the strongest nationalism would inevitably be restrained by the great powers, and division was inevitable. And, at that moment, whether or not division is the only way to truce. Half a century has passed, and this Korean film can not only reflect the pain and rhetorical questioning about the war brought to them by the film, but also touch us. Think about it, today Nanjing has established a friendship city with the Japanese city of Nagoya, and was questioned and ridiculed by Japanese officials. The dead compatriots are really just cannon fodder. Takashi Kawamura, an official in Nagoya, said, if there really was the Nanjing Massacre, why are you still so friendly to us? At first glance, his logic seems reasonable. It is only in the eyes of the Chinese people that repaying grievances with virtue is not understood by the Japanese, and they think it is a manifestation of cowardice. I don't want to be a little daughter-in-law who talks about the past, I just think that some parts and people in China can do less work of hot faces and cold butts! Really good scars forget the pain! Look at the Japanese brand cars on the streets. Although I know that the money is not all made by the Japanese, but try to think about the day when the war will start, and the cannonball that fell at your door is the one that you paid for. Really!
The grief of the Chinese people is reflected in Chinese films. No film is as profound as "Highland War". We are against war and have been beaten for a hundred years. Now is the time to keep a low profile. Since it is to keep a low profile and bide your time, there should be a movie about the understanding of war. The material is there, but there is no such good movie. Therefore, I recommend everyone to watch "Highland War"! ! !

It is a good text to attribute war to the desire of every life, fight war to survive, but many scenes seem to be too procrastinated, photography and images in a lot of dialogue scenes have a sense of disharmony like soap operas, but this is still for A very successful war film depicting human nature. Although the technical convenience is a little bit worse, the story is great, it can be regarded as the last Korean war film after [Tai Chi flag flutters]. ★★★★
