Kunchiyan is the first horror film in my bean column, not because it impresses me or because of my preference, but because it created a precedent for a marketing horror film - this is definitely the highest expectation I have ever seen, horror A movie with the lowest index. When it was first released, everyone on Weibo said that they were scared to death by this movie, but in fact, the horror level can only scare people who have never watched horror movies. In order to commemorate this Internet celebrity film that made me fall asleep, I decided to use Kunchiyan as the unit of terror index.
From the perspective of shooting methods, horror movie lovers should be familiar with it. Like ghost recordings, it increases the sense of realism from the perspective of a handheld camera and a pseudo-documentary. But in fact, because the place where the story takes place is not a daily psychiatric hospital, it cannot give you the feeling that the horror is around you like the ghost recording, and there is no stamina, and you will forget it after reading it.
In terms of rhythm, it should be the most criticized part of this film. The first hour is procrastinated and boring, and there is no sense of atmosphere. Maybe if I hadn't been eating ice cream, I would have really fallen asleep. So much so that I wasn't surprised when I was frightened later. Instead, I felt like you'd show me this after waiting for an hour.
Except for the earthy Rap, the fright point is quite satisfactory. The common bell rings, the scarf is lifted, and someone is caught. The girl in the back is alone in the tent and confronts a naked man with a zipper. A little bit of tension.
The plot, the bright line is still clear, the story of a group of people who died and went to hell and was played by ghosts, the story of the dark line mental hospital is really sparse, you are a horror movie, not a suspense movie, okay? There are foreshadowings and hints scattered everywhere, and the dark plot depends entirely on imagination. It may be the story of the dean abusing patients and then the patients killing them. People who like this kind of blank space will like it very much, and people who don't like it, such as me, will feel that the story is not clearly explained. The ending left blank will make people feel unfulfilled, but the large area of the plot left blank is really lonely.
Summary: It's really not a sincere work, buy less marketing, and make a good movie.
