I have seen ghost films with similar shooting techniques before. To tell the truth, except that they can magnify and observe the nostrils of actors, they are not very good. Movies like Kunchi Rock and The Furnace need to know Korean history to better understand it, which is a bit troublesome for a lazy person like me. In terms of the plot, it's a bit old-fashioned, and the way of scaring remains the same. It's still the automatic movement of objects and occasional cries to create a terrifying atmosphere, which is not in line with my expectations.
