oh, not bad

For the first time in a horror film, I was exposed to the shooting method of pseudo-documentary. I didn’t search for information related to the film before watching the film, so at first I thought that the Baidu cloud resources I saved were wrong. But for horror movies, I don’t have to be so serious, so I watched it slowly and felt a bit unexpected.

Kunchiyan is said to be a famous horror holy place in South Korea. His predecessor was a mental hospital. I checked it out, and it turned out that there are actually the seven horror holy places in the world mentioned in the movie. In 2012, the travel channel of CNN TV in the United States selected the "Seven Horror Sacred Places in the World", namely Chernobyl Amusement Park in Ukraine, Bone Church in Czech, Suicide Forest in Japan, Witchcraft Market in West Africa, Doll Island in Mexico and Hashima in Japan. , South Korea's Kunchiam Psychiatric Hospital.

Not to mention that Kunchiyan is not scary anymore, when I mention the mental hospital, I feel quite scary. I have actually met people who are really mentally ill, and their eyes are truly unforgettable. I still remember the eyes of a mental patient I saw almost ten years ago, like a lingering shadow engraved in my mind. Their eyes seem to be sluggish or numb, but this is still acceptable. The most unacceptable thing is that the eyes they look at you seem to be able to see through your whole body, and they can also see some of you from you. Like what he can't see, his eyes are so sharp that one can't help shivering. The most important thing is that many mentally ill people are convinced that they are normal, and maybe they can tell you a lot of thoughts that impact your three views in a sane way, and you are confused as to which of you is mentally ill. When I watched "The Genius is on the Left, the Madman is on the Right", I often felt this way. I really couldn't pick out what was wrong with them. Instead, I felt that my structure was too small and I didn't have the ability to quickly accommodate and accept new ideas.

Going back to the movie itself, because it is the subject of a pseudo-documentary, the whole movie is shaking, making people feel dizzy and nauseous, but I can get used to it later, and the plot has reached its climax. The intense and exciting plot can still catch the eye. Looking at it and thinking, it is true that you will not die if you don’t die. Although I also like to challenge myself, there are some things that are beyond the bottom line and are not easily touched. But I also understand that the drive for curiosity and the interest in the unknown is really fascinating. I have been a very curious person since I was a child, and I have also done adventure activities similar to movies.

When I was very young, almost in the second grade of elementary school, I heard that there were dead bones in a hole in the back door of the school. Then one day, I and a few boys went out of the school through the dog hole to see the bones of the dead. Allow. As a result, a few boys were afraid to die, and I was the only one who tried to bite the bullet, but it turned out that there were no dead bones, but I saw a big pile of stinky shit.

Another time, when I was in the fifth or sixth grade of elementary school, there was a basement near the school, and I heard that there seemed to be people living in it. We all thought it was weird at the time. How could people live in the basement? Eighty percent is not a good thing. I couldn't help being curious, so I asked a few classmates on Saturday to go down and find out! Hmm... the result was unexpected, but it seemed reasonable. Only an elderly couple lived in it, and it was damp, dark and shabby. But the whole process is quite exciting, and it is also a long experience.

So, in general, I actually quite understand their curiosity-hunting psychology. If it were me, I might not be able to resist the drive of curiosity. After all, I am also a person with a criminal record. Just from the outside, the Kunchiyan Mental Hospital is already quite infiltrating, gloomy and miserable, choose such a place to explore, you still have to be careful!

I think the atmosphere of the whole film is pretty good, but I don't feel too scared. On the one hand, I know very well that it is just a movie. On the other hand, the environment I live in is very modern, and I don't put myself into that kind of uncontrollable. in the environment.

The most impressive scene is probably Charlotte illuminating a strange human body with a flashlight. When she moved the light away, she unconsciously made up a lot of pictures of evil spirits rushing towards her. She was still a little nervous. It was still a shock when the body of a human or a ghost quickly moved in front of Charlotte, but this was the usual way of horror movies.

If you are interested, you can take a look. If you are timid, I think you should not toss yourself.
