Carry forward.

Today, I want to talk to you about a British drama. British dramas always have a unique temperament that is well-made, but not very popular. (Except, of course, very few like "Sherlock") But people who like to watch dramas know that British dramas have always been of high quality, and now I'm going to introduce to you "Blood Gang", which has not attracted many people's attention.

The entire TV series has now been updated to its fifth season, telling the story of the legendary Peaky Blinders, a legendary gangster family in the post-war Birmingham area. Dating back to 1919, family members had a hobby of sewing razor blades between the brim of their hats, which is where the "Razor Party" got its name. Sean Murphy plays Tommy Shelby, a brutal gangster, the leader of the family brothers, bloodthirsty and ruthless. In that era, veterans, revolutionaries and criminals all struggled to survive at the bottom of society.

Tommy is a veteran who came back from the battlefield of World War I. He started as a horse farm manager and led the family to complete the primitive accumulation of capital, and turned to politics after whitewashing.

In this issue, we mainly talk about the fifth season. After Tommy entered politics and became a member of parliament, he explicitly forbade members of the Shelby family not to get involved in the underworld business, intending to become an invisible king of Birmingham hidden behind the scenes.

But Fen, the youngest brother in the family, couldn't understand Tommy's painstaking efforts. He took the lead in the opening battle with the Chinese gangster and was shot in the forearm. Tommy's troubles are far more than that. Economically, the family's assets in New York have been lost in the stock market crash, and his brother Arthur's daughter-in-law is also encouraging Arthur to seize the throne. The family faced a huge crisis in the face of the Great Depression, not only Tommy's status, but also the source of family funds became a big problem. In terms of underworld, the northern gangster "Billy the Kid" and the "Razor Party" Shelby family are on the front line. Politically, Tommy faces the throes of British fascist Moseley.

"When the tide goes out, you'll know who's swimming naked."

When a comprehensive crisis comes, we can see who is really fighting for the family and who can lead the family through the crisis.

Under great pressure, Tommy first cooperated with Chinese gangsters to transport opium to find a source for the family's cash flow; he used strong means to integrate the differences within the family; at the same time, he cooperated with the fascists to break into the enemy's interior; and he also belonged to the fascist forces. Lee Kid temporarily shook hands to make peace.

These are just the illusions that Tommy had to make in order to bring down the enemy, but don't forget, he is a tough guy from a gang who dares to fight and fight. In fact, he had already found a sniper to assassinate the fascist leader Mosley at the banquet, and then attacked "Billy the Kid".

The plan was perfect, but at the last minute something went wrong.

If you want to know what happened next, please listen to the next breakdown.
