another social reality film

At first I thought it was a suspenseful horror film, but I guessed that it should be the phone call made by the son of the "suspect" to avenge him and created a series of horror events.
South Korea can at least face its own social problems, or adapt or create real events. After all, some works reflect social reality and criticize the current government. On the other hand, in China, clowns such as Yu Zheng have been active for a long time, and the ban of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television is a sigh but helpless.
The film takes the terrorist attack as the main line and is carried out through live broadcast, interspersed with the anchor's love and career, including his bribery, which is the evil of human nature. At first, he was for reinstatement, for ratings, and for money. During the live broadcast, he was more threatened by various parties, and the most important thing was the threat to his life, although it was later confirmed that the bomb in the ear was fake. In the end, the police confirmed that the person by the name of the terrorist had died two years ago, and decided to make the anchor a scapegoat. All aspects of the game for their own interests exposed their true ugly face.
At the end of the film, the male protagonist saw the news that his ex-wife had been killed, witnessed the murder of the suspect, betrayed by his own TV station, and was arrested by the police. An ugly fight. But can it really end? Does not.

The Terror Live quotes

  • Yeong-hwa Yoon: Why me?

Park Shin-Woo: Still, I thought you would be different. You're all the same. That's why you're dying. Then, I'll stand there and end things myself.

Yeong-hwa Yoon: Please, Mr. Park... Please, please don't kill me. Please, sir! Please! I beg you! Please! Let me live! Let me out, please.

Park Shin-Woo: Keep being like that. Groveling under damn bastards. Live like that, then die.

  • Park Shin-Woo: Is it that hard to apologize? Now, this is all I have.
