(contains a lot of spoilers)
After watching this movie, I was really confused. I don't know how to evaluate this movie. Let's talk about the plot first.
The male protagonist is a demoted radio anchor who received a call from a terrorist one day and started live broadcasting. After this point, no one will think that the terrorist is really bad. According to the title of the movie, everyone believes that he has difficulties.
So, what did he say? He said that he was a worker, that he had worked hard all his life for nothing, that the government did not take him seriously, and then asked the president to apologize to him, then why the president apologized to you depends on how much you said. words? You are giving an example. Maybe the dead workers he mentioned are counted, but that's not clear. Several workers died unexpectedly at work, and the president should apologize to you? To know that the president represents the whole country, it may only be a matter of a few departments. Well, let's assume that all of the above makes sense, so what's the reason for the president's apology? What is the president sorry for? I'm not Korean, I don't know Korean laws, and the show doesn't mention how he wants the president to apologize.
Maybe the president can just say, sorry, three of your workers died, it's my fault that you're not doing well, it's the fault of the whole country.
But we don't know what the problem is. The terrorist's troubles, he didn't say what he experienced, so how can we sympathize with him?
So the more I look at it, the more I feel that the terrorist is a cynical person, a diaosi who has lived a humble life, and is even a little neurotic.
Well, in fact, all kinds of plots in the play are full of bugs, so I won't consider them here, because of the film itself, such technical problems can be ignored.
But what about the image of the protagonist? From the moment he was eager to hang up the terrorist, he knew that he was a glib person (I don’t know if this is the right description) and he didn’t let his colleagues call the police. The disadvantage is not good.
Then, I was thinking, if the director shoots like this, will he finally have a personality change and criticize the society together with the terrorists.
But goose, no. The protagonist has been talking too much from the beginning to the end, but he didn't get to the point. He wants the president to apologize, then the male protagonist, you can say it, and call the president out in a big and sharp way to promote some justice, say Talk about the injustice of this world.
I can only see that the male protagonist is running away from the beginning to the end, and the president is only forced to come out. I always feel that the male protagonist is very calm (I don’t know why, is it because of the Korean language?) He may die at any time, and his lover suffers misfortune in front of his eyes, which is unbearable for a normal person.
Then someone has to say, at the end, didn't the male protagonist change, didn't he press the button?
Then the situation is like this, the male protagonist wants to save the terrorist, and the police shoot the terrorist. Why should they shoot? , I want to shoot a shot, let him have a few seconds to regret it, try his best to detonate the bomb at any time, and shoot another shot?
So let's just think that the director's filming is to highlight the darkness of the police and make the male protagonist despair. Then the male protagonist detonated the bomb for even more reason, because he wanted to save the terrorist, so he knew that he was misunderstood by the police, so he wanted to die. .
Or the male protagonist knew that he was going to be framed and sent to prison, and the woman he loved died, then he felt that there was no point in living, so he wanted to die together and let it go (because a job promotion and his lover have always been part of the show. The emotional sustenance of the male protagonist). Then it's silly to see the police let the male protagonist get the detonator.
In fact, there are still many flaws, I will only mention these two.
On the plus side, this movie still has a lot. For example, the plot is actually pretty good, but it lacks some extremely important details.
So I still don't understand after watching it. Everything in the play is actually dark, and there is no place for justice? So what the director wants to express seems to be more profound? Or maybe it's just those movies that only use novel themes to win the audience's attention? I have no idea.
Everyone's thinking is different, and their feelings about this movie will also be different. Maybe I don't think so, and many people think it's a good movie.
But no matter how you look at it, please be honest, this movie can be said to be a good movie, but it is not so good that it can make people make a case. One, the Great Celestial Dynasty is dead. Even Hollywood dares not touch this scale. Please, does this movie involve any political issues? Suyuan back then could arouse people's protection of underage girls, but what could this inspire? I can't figure it out right now, if anyone knows please let me know.
In the end, I would say weakly to the terrorist who blew up a bridge, a building, and indirectly destroyed a building, killing several lives, and only wanted an apology from the president.
How to look at the world rationally
