A Brief Review of "Battleship Island"

...The whole narrative is clear, and through three character clues, it comprehensively shows the cruelty of the Japanese on the Battleship Island and the inferiority of the infighting of the nation. In the film, the scene where the whole island people set up ladders to escape from the warship island is moving and made many people cry. If the ending part can return to the historical facts, I believe it can arouse people's reflection on war and human nature.
It tells the story of the Koreans who were tricked to come to Gunkanjima during World War II and were enslaved by the Japanese. The Koreans, represented by Li Jiangyu, Cui Qixing, and Park Mooying, tried their best to escape from Gunkanjima.
