It's just that the happy ending is still a little softer, which makes Shapolang 2 lack the 'power' that 'Shapolang' should have. What impresses me most about Slay Po Wolf 1 is that the blue sea and blue sky at the end set off the whole film's tone of 'everything is lost' is particularly gloomy: the powerful energy possessed by Seven Kills, Po Jun and Greedy Wolf can create beauty, and also make Everything is destroyed in an instant. The ironic sense of powerlessness brought about by this imminent certainty was even stronger at the moment when Uncle Hua lowered his head.
But this lack may be intentional, in order to avoid repeating the gloom of Shapolang again and again; after all, 'God doesn't play with us like that'.
