Although "Su Yuan" is about an evil deed, what moved me was the love and kindness shown in the film.
After the accident happened to Sowon, the reporters swarmed to chase and intercept, I thought the film would turn to show the coldness of human nature and ridicule the ugly face. But as soon as the screen turned, I saw the enthusiastic psychologist, the boss who gave the doll, the good sister who obviously helped to donate, the loving classmate with stickers... Although evil exists in the world, the world is still full of love. Public opinion is still rational in the face of right and wrong.
The father's emotional line is the most inked in the film. From the beginning, he didn't care about his family, and he was careless with his braids. Later, he tried every means to tease Suyuan, and then he was heartbroken because the prisoner couldn't do justice. A father's love has always been so forbearance and restraint, like a passive skill, which is only stimulated when the child is hurt.
The kind of open-mindedness and rationality shown by Sowon is really distressing. When Suyuan said that: I really hope to wake up and find that I have gone back to the past, and none of this happened. I am afraid we have all had such thoughts, but the setbacks we have encountered are nothing compared to Su Yuan.
South Korea's Sowon and Melting Pot have been very successful in promoting legislation with a movie. This is a very high social effect that a movie can achieve.
