If the redemption is not completed, the more the healer, the more the pain

When the dirty and despicable "bad uncle" image appeared on the screen, it seemed that he had seen through the director's old face. Just as I had foreseen: a stubborn, nasty, stubborn character who destroys daisies with a hot hand emerges spontaneously! On the other hand, the more sprouting, cute, and innocent the little girl in the film is, the more cruel and tragic she will be; then, correspondingly, the decadent and wretched uncle will inevitably make him have hopeless despicability. The big contrast creates the audience's infinite pity and hatred! That's because of conventions and routines, and suffering is a circle. Obviously, the director did not let everyone down and jumped in without hesitation.

Before watching "Su Yuan", I watched the movie "Seven Perverted Personalities" by chance. I thought it was a Quentin-style pure, and staged a violent aesthetic. The dark humor and crazy revenge in the film continued until the end of the film, and it turned into a topic about human nature at the end, which was the key to not being moved by "Su Yuan".

That ultimate redemption comes from the story of the last Vietnamese Avenger in "Seven Psychopaths". He was perverted and vicious in Vietnam, carrying gasoline, threatened the hostages with bombs, and rushed into the United States, where the Vietnam War was being discussed, and carried out bloody revenge. At this time, the hostage calmly said, "Stop, it's useless to do this." He was about to light the match. Seemingly touched, as soon as he closed his eyes and opened his eyes, the avenger instantly transformed into Shi Guangde. He was already sitting on Saigon Street, holding a match in his hand to protest the war by self-immolation. Buddhist friends persuaded him, "Stop, do This thing is useless", but he replied "maybe it will be useful." Completed a self-salvation from extreme evil to great kindness, which is extremely shocking, and it is a kind of deep moving feeling for me.

The film stays at the stage of misery, hatred, grief, and resentment, and cannot be sublimated. I am afraid it is a redemption that the director himself cannot reach or control.

So "Su Yuan" resolutely decided to take the "Let the public feel the pain!" line, which is bound to make the viewers feel the same. It just verified the mother's sentence in the film, "It's better that all children encounter this kind of thing". The same sentence appeared twice and was reiterated by the father once, which almost passed the burden to the audience! On the contrary, there are several places that show the little girl's rationality and strength beyond adults, using her innocence to fight cruelty, and soothing the unspeakable pain of adults in her few words, all of which are ironic...

Throughout the whole film, the director did not give a reasonable outlet, and did it intentionally, which caused most people to be unable to let go after watching it. Even if there is sunshine, optimism and touching warmth in the film, the audience is still depressed and hard to let go. In the film "Su Yuan", the criminal uncle is as insensitive as always, refuses to admit his debts, doesn't want to repent at all, has nothing to do with redemption, the callous judge does nothing, parents, teachers and students, doctors, friends, lawyers... appear at a reasonable time to meet the identity Do things of human kindness. Mere companionship, there is still no redemption. I originally expected that there would be an explosion of human nature, it would be delusional, and the unfinished spiritual healing, whether for the girl or the audience...

The high score of "Suyuan" is actually a kind of compassion for me, No amount of warm tones in the later period can hide their scars from shallow to deep, because everyone is still sad inside and outside the play, and the gloom left behind is exactly a redemption for the director's lack of us.

After watching the movie and pondering for a long time, I was almost trapped by grief, a trace of depression, a few traces of anger, wandering in the body and nowhere to vent.
This endless hatred is about to start a self-abuse mode, and I took out my lighter and was about to light a cigarette...Unfortunately, the light of the Buddha suddenly shone, and
a bald monk walked over and said softly: "Stop, there is no point in doing this. Useful", Ben Di made a play in an instant.

One star is given to the protagonist little girl, and one star is given to the kind audience.
