For love, women can't always learn to retreat

Women with warm feelings can always stand out in the crowd, plus some beauty and talent, it is easier to become the kind that attracts attention in the vast stars. But the enthusiasm of the feelings is bound to be a romantic heart and a sensitive temperament. Camille couldn't accept that Rodin was swaying and refused to make a choice, and she couldn't see that she was making sacrifices to some extent, sacrificing her body and talents to support her lover. The madness and confusion at the end was too heart-wrenching. It was her pain that drove her crazy, it was her hope for life and her surviving life that drove her crazy, her longing and the embarrassment of reality drove her crazy.

Camille Claudel quotes

  • Camille Claudel: [to Auguste Rodin] You stole it all! My youth, my work! Everything!

  • Camille Claudel: You're wrong to think it's about you. You're a sculptor, Rodin, not a sculpture. You ought to know. I am that old woman with nothing on her bones. And the aging young girl... that's also me. And the man is me too. Not you. I gave him my toughness. He gave me his emptiness in return. There you are... three times me. The Holy Trinity, trinity of emptiness.
