I am full of curiosity about this world, there are many things I have never seen, and many things I have never experienced. This movie tells the story of me, an air doll.
In the park I met a lonely old man who told me that people with ice hands usually have a warm heart. He also read a poem to me, to the effect that life may not be able to be fulfilled by itself, we are born human, we are flawed (empty) without realizing it, we all have to rely on others to achieve each other (fill ourselves the void).
Once, I accidentally punctured myself, and my body shriveled quickly. At this point, a boy I liked came to my rescue by blowing into the inflation port on my stomach.
Since I have the breath of someone I like in my body, I have become full and happy. At night, my body belongs to my master, and during the day, my heart belongs to the boy. We ride motorcycles together, watch movies together, go to the beach together, walk on the street together… those are the happiest times of my life.
Loneliness is what my master and I have in common; what I have in common with that boy is that we both have a good heart.
I asked the boy if he was scared when he found out I was an air doll and he replied no because he was too, and I foolishly believed that.
At first, I thought that having a mind would bring happiness, but then I gradually realized that having a mind can also bring pain. Intentional or unintentional doesn't matter anymore, people hurt me and I hurt them.
I was an air puppet and ended up being a trash. Before I died, in my dream, all the people I knew came to celebrate my birthday. I was very happy, but I couldn't hold back the tears.
I gently opened my wound and let the air out of my body. I sniffed them hard, the scent of a lover in them. I blow the dandelions in front of me with the last of my strength, and let the breeze carry them to you. Dandelion will tell you that I have been here.

The air doll is played by South Korean actress Pei Doona. Although there are many restricted scenes in the film, Pei Doona's performance is both pure and beautiful, like a dandelion blooming in the sun. "Air Doll" is directed by Japanese master director Hirokazu Koreeda. The film style is fresh and meaningful, with rich and delicate emotions. In terms of observing human nature, this film can be said to be a unique way.
The first half of the film is like a fantasy full of novelties, but as the human emotions experienced by the puppets become more and more rich, the atmosphere of the film also becomes sad, and in the end, the film changes into A rhapsody about emptiness and loneliness, echoing over a city full of reinforced concrete.
