your world is beautiful

It was a coincidence that I came across this film.
But I like it unexpectedly, I like it so much that I want to cut every frame. Probably because I love this minimalist style full of dreamy colors too much.

Thought it was a French film at first, but wondered about its language. Later, I found out that it was a Brazilian film, which was quite unexpected. It's hard to imagine how a movie can have almost only a soundtrack like flute and no dialogue, but it's like this, it's like connecting every picture of a cartoon together. Even understand it. At first, I thought it was a story about a little tadpole looking for a 'daddy' and being taken in by a kind person, but after reading it, it is very clear in retrospect: the little boy's father left him and his mother, and left that beautiful hometown. The boy grows up and goes to the outside world to find his father. First worked as a worker in a textile factory, and then mechanized production replaced labor, so he had to go wandering again. He plays the flute and sings with a rudimentary instrument he made. When he was older, he went to work as a cotton worker with a puppy for company. Later, he was forced to leave his post due to old age. After wandering abroad for so long, he finally returned to his hometown. But he found out: everything is so different, even the tree he planted when he was a little boy is already towering... In my hometown, the sky is still so beautiful, and the stars are still so bright.

In particular, the story does not unfold in a straightforward manner, but let the children run through the entire animation, which seems to be a dream trip. This is probably a beautiful dream that he had on his way home when he was getting old.

At first, it was easy to recognize the two grown ups as kind people who kindly took in the little boy, but there was a foreshadowing. The clothes of the three were the same. The faces of young people are also very similar to those of children. If you look carefully, you might find it.

At the beginning, I was really attracted by the beauty of the film. The colors are extremely beautiful, fresh and warm. It's very comfortable to look at, and you won't be blinded by the rich colors. And often come up with some novel ideas, such as children bouncing on leaves, wonderful musical symbols have shapes, walking out of trees when walking out of the house, etc. Sigh at the boy's whimsy and the wonderful world in his eyes.

My favorite is the background painting of the movie, such as sunset or night or forest. Although this movie is a minimalist painting style, the boy's hand has only four lines, and there are many places where the color seems to be incomplete, but the magic is that the background is actually very attentive, with contrasting colors in many places. But it didn't feel abrupt at all, and often a frame appeared and sighed: Beautiful! Plus two words: beautiful!

There is one more impression: the 'pipe sound' buried by the boy many years ago, and he went to look for it many years later.
Everything has changed, but the flute is still there, the love is still there, the hope is still there.

Perhaps the theme of this film is a critique of the process of industrialization, but I think a child's world is so simple, it doesn't have to be so complicated.
This is the first time to write a long review, I am inexperienced, please give me more advice.
