You are the No.1

It's another exciting movie. I like the image of the protagonist's sunny big boy who can always laugh so well. It's a true story, and the real protagonist still continues his educational career and dreams.

Brad has had Tourette Syndrome since he was a child. He was twitching uncontrollably and making strange noises. His father, teachers and classmates didn't understand him and treated him in a simple and rough way. But fortunately, there is still his mother, who has been quietly encouraging him behind the scenes to let him go to school and live like a normal child, and a good principal he met, who made everyone else accept his flaws. I think maybe it was this teacher who made him start to make education his lifelong dream.

Finally, Brad grew up and began to face the dilemma of finding a job. He was beaten again and again, but he still spoke out about his problems calmly. Many people still didn't understand him. I remember a scene where he crashed in the car. Weeping, at that moment he was sad and desperate. But his mother's encouragement immediately cheered him up again, gritted his teeth, and put in resumes from school to school, and finally found a teaching field that suits him. The children in the class also fell in love with this lovely teacher. In the end, he was honored, received true love, and recognized by his father. He was still lucky.

This story tells us to find our dream and stick to it. There will be ups and downs in the process, and there will be despair. At the same time, we must accept our imperfect self, deal with it calmly, face the reality head-on, and always hold on to hope. Hope will lead us to a distant place!

  • Brad Cohen: It's hard to be patient when you feel as though you've blown your last chance.

  • Jim Ovbey: Hilarie and I discussed you with the teachers. And, we talked about how proud we are of teaching our kids to never let anything hold them back in life. And, Hilarie said that if we're gonna talk the talk, we need to walk the walk.
