10.6 After watching "Weird Doctor Dolittle" This is a 1998 comedy (Ma Ye is as old as I am). It tells about the protagonist Dolittle who can hear the sounds of animals and treat them as a doctor. Then The story of a tiger rescued. This is my childhood memory. I saw it when I was a child. I found this setting is very interesting and the plot is quite funny. I left a deep impression. See it at once. Being able to talk to animals is such an enviable ability. Which kid has never thought that he can talk to puppies and kittens? The story also gave the protagonist the identity of a doctor, which allows him to hear the sounds of animals, and at the same time to help them personally and treat their illnesses, which can be said to be icing on the cake. The protagonist also refused to accept himself from the beginning, and even became a person he hated, and then reconciled later, accepting himself, and conforming to his own heart to treat the tiger. This is a well-deserved reunion comedy movie. There is no complicated plot, but you can watch it in a happy way. It's pretty good.

[and later, after John has corrected his vision]

Astigmatic Police Horse: ... Holy road apples! I can see! No desk job for me! Thanks a million, Doc. This is gonna be great. I'll make lieutenant. Nothing can stop me, nothing - Look a that, a doughnut shop...!

  • Dr. Mark Weller: [gushing - again - about the prospective Calnet merger] ... You're not gonna believe what I got for us, John: corporate cars every two years.

Dr. John Dolittle: [referring to how they've lost touch with what's really important] Hey, Mark... Do you remember when we first started out? We had those crummy offices, at the worst neighborhood in town. We got paid almost no money.

Dr. Mark Weller: I've blocked it out.
