BoBo (James Wolk) is born with Tourette's disease, a severe spastic disease that causes him to wriggle his neck uncontrollably and make strange noises. And this kind of weird behavior made him not understood by the people around him since he was a child. In school, teachers often criticized him, classmates even ridiculed him, and even his father was disappointed with him. Only his mother has always been his solid arm, and his mother's persistence and encouragement have enabled him to move forward in a normal life. However, facing this world that can't understand him, BoBo has been struggling in the vortex of pain. Until the principal cleverly let everyone know the real situation of BoBo in front of everyone at a school meeting, so that he had a firm dream of becoming a teacher who cared for students, even if BoBo suffered from the path of seeking the dream of a teacher because of this disease. To the suspicion of everyone, he was repeatedly frustrated, but he always insisted on his dream. In order to find a school that is willing to accept him, he did not abandon his dream, did not give up his belief, and worked silently. And his once tortuous life path began to slowly improve under his persistence...
The film is based on the true story of Brad Cohen.
