Optimism has to be grasped and created by oneself

Simple, but let you and I, who are trapped in the quagmire of life, regain a little firmness and courage. I've always wanted to be a person with a strong heart, but I'm still very fragile, shaken, withdrawn, and doubtful. It is wiser to gain courage and confidence from the outside world from time to time than to carry it yourself. If you can't get the support and understanding of others, at least you have to find it yourself. Watching inspirational movies is also a good choice.
In addition to the optimism of the protagonist, two points are also very touching. The mother's encouragement and understanding are the main motivation. And the principal who let him get rid of the embarrassment back then made him re-examine the world.
He is lucky to have such a persistent mother and such a wise teacher. But I don't know how many lucky people there are in this world.
Without such luck, optimism can only be grasped and created by itself.

This movie touched me not because the protagonist is still aspiring despite his disability, but because a society respects and tolerates the disability. Without him, the principal of elementary school would not have Cohen chasing his dreams in the future. Some schools are willing to ask him to be a teacher. Parents can safely put their children in his class. The children respect him. The tolerance of these silent people makes me extremely moved.

This movie gave me great confidence in a patient with Tourette's disease for more than ten years

Front of the Class quotes

  • Brad Cohen: It's hard to be patient when you feel as though you've blown your last chance.

  • Jim Ovbey: Hilarie and I discussed you with the teachers. And, we talked about how proud we are of teaching our kids to never let anything hold them back in life. And, Hilarie said that if we're gonna talk the talk, we need to walk the walk.
