I think that if Scimitar is made purely as a retro b film, it will definitely not work.

The scale of the first part is not bad, with some exaggerated parts embellished with the routines of the old b film, it looks like a spoof and a tribute.

But the second part is too much, it feels like a test, is it possible to completely let the series reach its climax in this form, but it failed, and the series should have ended.

It is even more tragic. The end of the scimitar actually means that the 80s b film style has finally collapsed under the test of the market.

Simple and rude plot line, tough guy protagonist who is both righteous and evil, the style of a one-man army, large-caliber firepower suppression, in fact, this kind of thing we love is already out of date, and our youth is finally gone.

So, in fact, this routine is really too late
