Personally, I especially like the beginning of this movie. First, the tense music and the unique fight scenes of the Seediq race make it refreshing for people who are used to watching Hollywood blockbusters. There is a scene in which the actor Mona Ludo jumped into the river was really well shot. The scenes of tumbling underwater and drifting can be called classic scenes.
In the upper part of this sun flag, the struggle among the Seediq races is shown, and the second half shows the psychological changes of the Seediq people after the Japanese occupied their homeland and the same Mona Rudana racial awareness.
There are three things I like about this movie very much. One is the fighting scene of this movie. The rhythm is fast and the fighting is powerful. Coupled with the unique physique of the Seediq people, they are very entertaining and powerful when fighting. . The second is the dubbing of this film, which I personally like quite a bit. The unique national flavor music is brisk and has a strong sense of rhythm. The music of their people's celebratory dance can be called classic. The third is the picture sense of this movie. Many scene directors have used light yellow scenes to give people an epic and atmospheric feeling.
After watching this movie, I feel that Taiwanese movies have really taken a big step forward. They are better and more powerful than the movies made by many so-called big directors in the mainland.
