music, life notes

Kruger's selection for Jenny was Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor, an ode to Schumann and Clara's beautiful love that broke through all obstacles and finally entered into marriage. In the excitement and relief, what Kruger heard was her struggle and belief in life for 60 years, and her persistence in her love. Her love became a long-term relationship and memories after experiencing Nazis and the difference between life and death; Jenny's life is hopeless, her love has put her in prison, and her life will burn out in her youth. Schumann's excitement and relief do not show her indignation, struggle, depravity and helplessness towards life, nor the pain and pain beyond the sweetness brought to her by love. Therefore, she chose to free herself to the fullest.
Although I still prefer the original performance of the piano music, this does not affect the final four minutes of the film, which vividly expresses the notes of the heroine's life, which is really shocking.
