The present and the past are alternately presented in the music, and the puzzle of the music teacher's stubborn teaching within the high wall is revealed in the memories. It turned out that she was using music to pay homage to the deceased, to use music to express her infinite grief, and to use music to stick to the long-lasting love buried in her heart. Inside the high wall is a dead world. Here, she spends her time with her lover through music, never leaving her and staying with her. Her favorite Schumann, the music is gentle and long, like dense soft silk weaving a wall around the door of the heart, and she is willing to lock herself in the wall, not letting go, not freeing.
The Girl Over Flowers went through hardships, love, possession, and betrayal, which divided her life into pieces. Under the seemingly pure appearance, in fact, the inner demons are hidden, and hatred is surging. The injustice of fate made it difficult for her to quell the hatred in her heart. She wanted to forget it, to break free, and to be free, but there was no way out. The tyrannical vent and the resolute self-mutilation are actually a kind of self-expression that she wants to break out of the cage. Even if she fails again and again, even if she is injured again and again, she still has to try, she wants to get rid of the entanglement of fate, and what she wants is a free soul. The rhythmic black music appears many times in the film, which is also a reflection of the girl's soul.
I have to say, that four-minute performance brought me to tears and out of my body. The music was not played by the keys, but spewed out of the body uncontrollably, touching the soul. The last heavy blow seemed to exert all her strength. In this moment, she got the destination of her life. And the music teacher, who never drinks, drank two glasses of red wine in the girl's music, and then smiled. At this moment, she was relieved. Their souls meet in music.
Four minutes to touch the soul.
