Like the Saiyans, the child Brandon's race sends newborn babies to all civilized planets in the universe, and then waits for the babies to grow up to conquer those "lower" civilizations. They are confident that only Brandon is enough to conquer the earth.
Before Brandon discovered his superpowers, he was basically a good boy.
