The original tracked 7.1 points, this 7.6. In my opinion, a good remake should refine the essence of the original film while improving its shortcomings. Unfortunately, this remake has no innovation in the storyline, which is completely copied from the original photo, even the lines and jokes are exactly the same. However, in addition to copying the plot, this film did not extract the essence of the original film (for example, when the pig girl stalked the villain, the psychological contradiction of what to do when her companion died was greatly weakened in this version; the plot of Ren Dahua's death was changed to Xue Jingqiu. It is also unacceptable for the protagonist's halo to continue to pursue the villain bravely and finally kill him after two needles). The original version of tracking also has many shortcomings, the background is unclear, and the branch lines are relatively vague, but this version has not made much improvement on these problems, and the shortcomings are also copied.
To be honest, I didn't think the tracking was so good at first, but when I checked it back, I found that I was playing Samsung. Compared with this film, I noticed the beauty of the Hong Kong film (now it is going to be changed to four stars), the actors' plot and atmosphere are perfect. Not to mention that Ren Dahua's wise old-fashioned, kind and calm are played by Xue Jingqiu in this film, and the villain is showing his arrogance to others with fists, knives and expressionless faces all the time. Very tired (I know that you are now acting as a ruthless boss, hard work...), Leung Ka Fai's fierce temperament that can be revealed from the inside out without pretense is what he lacks. Many people say that the heroine is stronger than the original version, but I don't think so. Although I have always had a good impression of Han Xiaozhu, I still think her pig girl is too arrogant, not as natural and humble as Xu Zishan.
The only thing that makes this remake really better than the original is the technical maturity brought about by the progress of the times, the grand scenes, and the exciting visual effects (although, the creation of the tension is still inferior to the original film).
If the plot is original, it deserves a 7.6, but it's a remake, so 5 can't be more.
