This movie has been on the Want to Watch list for a long time. I opened it and watched it for a while before, but I gave up after watching the two-hour movie without the patience.
I finally finished watching this movie yesterday afternoon, and watched all the trailers, and gave it to my best friend.

Overall, this movie is "to my liking". Summer, islands, girls, and monsters combine my favorite themes. Like many fresh Japanese anime, the whole plot is warm and healing, making the audience cry and laugh, and the laughter and tears are just right. It is worth mentioning that the lines in the film are drawn very carefully, and the structure of the house can be seen clearly. Favorite is the tone of the whole movie. Almost all colors are light and bright. The blue of the sea, the green of trees, the girlish pink of Xiao Tao's clothes, and the yellow of grandpa's shorts, these colors look light and give people a very comfortable feeling. These colors remind me of walking on the beach in summer, and the sea breeze is blowing, which is very beautiful. The scenes in the movie are also very beautiful. It feels like a tourism promotion film about Shioshima. I really want to see what Shido is like in summer.

Regarding the plot, it reminds me of Xia Da's "Zibuyu", a story about girls and monsters. From big cities to remote villages, ancient houses, narrow streets, kind companions, mysterious ghost legends, warm and healing.

However, the monsters appearing in this movie can be said to have contracted all the laughs of the whole drama. The golden-toothed monster is in charge of being silly, the skinny monster is in charge of complaining, and Douzi is in charge of being cute. I watched the animated picture of the golden-toothed monster pushing Xiao Tao into the sea several times, and it was really silly and cute. Douzi responded slowly, never panicked, and always came up with good ideas at critical moments. The dance that the three monsters danced when they left was really cute, and completely changed the image of the monsters in my mind.

After watching this movie, I am more eagerly looking forward to the arrival of summer.
