Let me talk about the advantages first.
The film photography is actually okay. It can be seen that the director and photographer want to shoot a film with a more novel angle and more suitable for young people's preferences. The tilted movement pushes the lens to create a sense of uneasiness in the environment. A large number of bright red and green contrasts also represent the male protagonist (red, violence, death, destruction), the male protagonist's daughter Tracy and the female protagonist Robin (green: represents the dawn, life, and the future). And many extreme low-angle overhead shots. Which is in the bar? It is also very interesting to shoot the scene of the male protagonist fighting with the enemy from the perspective of the ice girl in the cage. Of course, some unnecessary sports shots can be understood to increase the sense of movement of the picture and attract the attention of the audience, but it is really unnecessary...
The special effects are not bad, it can only be said to be the standard that the Hollywood industry should have.
After talking about the advantages, let's talk about the biggest groove of the film.
That's the plot, and I'm actually looking forward to it after watching the trailer. I understand that the director is trying to tighten a string (suspense) to the end of the movie. At least, as a general audience, what I want to see is how the male protagonist plays well, and what is the superpower of the male protagonist. And the male protagonist uses superpowers to defeat the enemy and so on. It turned out to be an explosion... It was cool, and it was just that... It felt like a black question mark
Secondly, in this old-fashioned plot, you can know that the male protagonist will definitely rescue his daughter in the end. Either everyone is happy together, or the male protagonist died on the ship on the spot, or the male protagonist died Tracy broke out, and everyone was second. Now, everyone is happy. Sure enough, the director did not live up to our guess. After the hero fainted, his daughter Tracy rescued his father... I thought it would have a grand world view like the X-Men, but it turned out to be a story of a small group of people doing human experiments and then being disturbed by one person.
What is really speechless is that the villain’s superpower, except for the person with horns on his body, made the male protagonist a bit distressed. How else is the IQ drop of taking medicine... There is also a scene where I was really drunk. A bodyguard with a black mask in the bar looks like a veteran taking medicine. He is proficient in eating, but it will explode in the next second... I thought he would attack from the soul...
The world view could have been well structured. In fact, although the movie has a strong shadow of the X-Men, at least the setting seems to be justified.
Finally, let me talk about the ugly actor who everyone is complaining about. I won't talk about the acting skills of the heroine Robin, the looks are indeed not good-looking. But how can I put it, why can't the black people who are not good-looking be not allowed to act? It doesn't seem to be so reasonable ~ she may really just represent the average lower-level black people in the United States.
Just personal opinion, don’t spray if you don’t like it
